Supporting people of all abilities live a good life their way,

through their voice and their choices.

This project is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and European Union.

Dara Community supports people who live in ordinary houses mainly in the Celbridge and North Dublin area. Some people live by themselves and some people share a home with others. Each person has a right to choose with whom and where they live in line with their will and preference.

The Dara Respite Service is available to people who access days services in the area. Access to the respite service is coordinated by the social workers in the day services. Dara Respite supports adults to socialise and meet up with friends and get out and about in community enjoying a full life.

Dara Possibilities supports adults, one person at a time to plan for a full life in partnership with their circle of support. Each person with an intellectual disability is supported to exercise their rights as a valued and contributing member of their local community.

Coming soon.

Dara will begin to provide individual and group employment supports in 2024.

Dara has been awarded a five year grant from Pobal to fund these supports.
